The 2017 Texas XTERRA Off-Road Triathlon Series consists of 5* events held at some of the most popular venues in the central Texas region. Events are broken up into gender and age based categories, a mixed category, and a special designation for challenged athletes. Events are qualifiers for XTERRA Nationals and Worlds.

Pace Bend Park is located in far western Travis County in the Hill Country of central Texas. The entire park is on a peninsula jutting into Lake Travis, with steep bluffs on one side offering spectacular views and gentle grassy slopes descending to the water on the other side. The trails at Pace Bend Park include limestone ledges, challenging rock gardens, some steep climbs, technical drop offs with plenty of smooth trail in between to help you recover before reaching the next obstacle.more
Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area is located just outside of Spicewood, TX on the north shore of beautiful Lake Travis. The cedar-lined trail system includes limestone outcroppings and ledges, hairpin turns, gravel washes, compressed dirt, and rock paths. This is a fast course with some technical areas including a couple of off-camber vertical stair steps along the trail. The trail is challenging for all levels of riders and runners. Cool off in the refreshing waters of Lake Travis following the event.more
Located in the Piney Woods in Navasota, Texas, Magnolia Hill Ranch is an "event only" ranch with the trail system only available to experience by those who participate in the event. You don't want to miss this opportunity to see this fantastic property with an incredible lake with sparkling blue water and trails winding through the pines. This is a fast course and one of the few that is completely ridable for all levels of riders!

Cameron Park is the ultimate destination when it comes to outdoor adventure in the Heart of Texas. The course will take your breath away as you go up and down climb after climb, in and out of cedar breaks and into dark bamboo forests.
